New Cast for Season 2: Ginny Weasley, Tom Riddle & Dobby
Earlier today, HBO announced three new cast members joining the Harry Potter series in Season 2.
Among them includes the new actress for Ginny Weasley, following Gracie Cochrane's departure from the series earlier this year. There is also the new actor for Tom Riddle, who plays a major role towards the end of The Chamber of Secrets. Finally, we have an actor for Dobby the House-Elf! At this stage, it's unclear exactly what his role will look like.

Meet the Cast
19-year-old Billy Barratt is best known for his work on Invasion (Apple TV) and the horror movie Bring Her Back. He is the youngest winner of the International Emmy Award for Best Actor for his role in Responsible Child (BBC TV).
Lenny Rush, just 17 years old, is best known for his work on the comedy-drama series Am I Being Unreasonable?. This performance won him a British Academy Television Award for Best Male Comedy Performance.
Bonnie Hill has previously starred in The Six Triple Eight (Netflix) and Girl Troop vs Aliens (where she also played a character named Ginny).
These new additions are the second round of castings announced so far for Season 2 of Harry Potter (The Chamber of Secrets). It comes after Kit Harrington was announced for the role of Gilderoy Lockhart a few weeks ago.
Season 1 (The Philosopher's Stone) premiers this Christmas on HBO Max.
